Recently RMS made a number of mild steel shafts for a local Smelting Company. At four and a half metres in length; these steel convayor rolers were produced in houe to a rigorous specification.

Sulphur Pump Returns after 10 years
Not many companies may take on a Sulpher Pump; but RMS has the facilities. This one returned to us for refurbishment after 10 years.

Micronizer Refurbishment
We've had a Steam Micronizer in for refurbishment for the soap powder industry. We only get a few of these in throughout a year, we do Pneumatic testing for air and water. This one measures 2 metres in diameter, weighing at 1 tonn (aprx sizes)
Lance Referbishment
Not long ago we had a big job in; 6 metres in length to be more precise. A Jacketed Lance used for cooling oxygen in molten steel, occupied our testing station. It's the first we've had in for about two years. As usual though we were up for the task of Flow testing to the specification given.
